| Well, I have to leave. Again.
Parents aren't liking some of the things going on with the blog, specifically the smallp0x and HP incidents. So, this will probably be a permanent hiatus.
I just want to say thanks for everyone who commented. It was nice to get some feedback on my ideas and other things like that.
I leave you with this:
If I had just one thing to say, before my last breath fades away.
Keep your head way up in the clouds and never let them get you down!
Keep hoping and dreaming and you will soar!
With a little faith and Love, You will soar!

| Expect a longer post than usual today since I'm planning on touching on 3 topics today.
First, I can simply not stop telling everyone to read The Screwtape Letters. It's an amazingly good book written by C.S. Lewis and what started me thinking about my religion and how somethings I thought made no sense now can. It's written in the form of 31 letters written from Screwtape to his nephew Wormwood.
Twist: Both are demons working for the Devil.
Now, at first glance, you'd think that there is no way for it to be a Christian book, but it is. Think of it like this, most Christian books tell you what to do. What's good about Christianity, how God redeems. This book does the exact opposite. It tells you what's bad about hell, how Satan damns, and what not to do. It, for lack of better words, demonizes demons. So, read the book prepared to learn and enjoy the ride.
Fun with Emotions. Ever noticed how you have to choose either outgoing or nogoing? Both have their upsides. I, for example, am extremely introvert and refuse to begin a conversation with people I don't know. They have to come to me and then impress me or I just blow them off. I'm kinda that way with people I do know. I simply can't start conversations. It's.... difficult for me. That's the down side to not wearing your emotions on your sleeve. You simply can't open up which means it's extremely hard to socialize. The huge upside though is that you have the security of never being hurt.
Being outgoing has upsides and downsides as well. Note, however, that I merely know this from my observations. You meet more people, create friendships and get people who can help you when you're down. Downsides? The people you meet can hurt you. They can leave you when you need them the most. You lose the security of only depending on yourself and God.
So, which is better? I'd say moderation of both. You need to know people, but after a short time it becomes hard if you know to many people. I prefer to know no more than 5 people and leave it at that. Then you can cultivate only those friendships.
Bah! I don't feel I have enough room for the 3rd part, which is adding to my theory from last post. I'll hit that tomarrow in a rare "In-A-Row" post.
| Alright, please don't anyone be to dissapointed but I disabled the comments on the last post. It's simply because it's been up 2 days and I doubt I'll get anymore comments on it. That, and I could see someone with the same attitude as smallp0x finding it and tearing through it. So, it's merely a safety precaution at the moment and I'm making sure it won't happen to often. If anyone has more to say on the subject in the post, tell me and I'll reopen the comments for awhile.
My personal thought on the greatest symbol of love in this physical world has to either just be Christ, or the Bible. In specific, a person giving a non-believer a Bible. That simply shows the love that the person has for the non-believer. Love to try and rescue them.
Anyways, more on love today, but a bit more indirectly.
First, I do believe that if one were to truly believe in evolution, one could not believe in love. The primary reason is that according to evolution, every species primary goal is to keep their genetic strain alive. Love interferes with this by making one not want to just go around... *cough*... you know the rest.
Next, here's a religious thought I got last night while I was praying.
One of the questions I hear a lot about Christianity is both kinda the same. "Why doesn't God just make sure all of us don't sin so we all go to heaven?" and "Why does God let some go to hell?"
The reasoning I have reached is that God loves everyone so much He let's them go to hell. Make sense? No? It shouldn't. It doesn't make sense to me but that's what I've been drawn to.
See, I believe that God loves us SO much that He gave us independent thought and freedom of choice. The reason I can't see Him just coming down and saying "No one shall ever sin again" and then the world is perfect, is because He could have stopped sin when He first created man.
God told Adam and Eve not to eat from the Forbidden Tree. They did anyway. However, God could have implanted into their heads, "NEVER EAT FROM THE TREE!" He could have made it so that the thought would never pass through Adam and Eve's heads, but HE DIDN'T! That's the key. He loves all of us so much that He doesn't just come down and alter people's minds to His will. That's not what one who loves does. He truly fully loves us. It's beyond human comprehension (that spelled right?) to know how much He loves us.
He loves us enough to let us make our own decisions, whether they are right or wrong. It takes that sort of extreme, un-human Love to allow one to constantly walk right down the wrong path and never just pluck him off and shove him straight down the correct one, blocking off all possible ways to get back to the bad path.
Sorry about prattling on a bit. I still need to build on the theory, but I do believe that it doesn't go against the Bible in any way and is indeed supported by the Good Book.
Finally, READ "The Screwtape Letters" NOW! Amazingly good Christian book by C.S. Lewis. I'll be doing my next post on that.
| Today's post is some random philosophical and religious thoughts and questions. If you know the answer, or have an opinion on a thought or question, please comment on it. I will not be doing anymore step-by-step breakdowns anymore. You can see what happened with that in the HP debate.
1. Why do some throw many stones at someone, yet become angry when one throws back? (This comes from both my little brother's personal experience (not literally in the stone throwing sense) as well as some political parts)
2. I cannot understand how one can be both an environmentalist and believe in evolution at the same time. Does evolution not say, "Survival of the Fittest?" You would believe then that all those who believe in evolution, who teach evolution in school, would not care about the animals. I don't agree with either side, but I do believe that although we should attempt to keep the environment well intact, we also should consider human lives more important than those of animals.
3. How can anyone say the world around us happened by chance? Saying that the Big Bang (which makes less sense than God ever will) just happened to form the universe, which happened to include Earth at the absolute PERFECT distance from the sun to support life. Saying that we just happened to evolve from single cell to multiple cells to fish to lizards to birds to mammals to humans. All of that makes my existance 1: An innumerable number. Something like 1 Google to the power of 1 Google to the power of 1 Google. It seems to me as if believing in evolution takes a TON more faith than believing in God.
4. Love is perhaps another reason that I can't help but believe in God. Love, from a Darwinian stance, is a weakness. It stops one from doing what "must be done". It also helps to prove that we are NOT animals. An animal doesn't feel such a love that a human does. Animals leave at the first sign of hardship, of pain. Humans, well some don't, if they truly love one, endure it all. THAT is why we can't be animals.
5. Where's the proof of Evolution? Where's the half evolved Velociraptor ---> Chicken?
6. Take this as a sort of HQOTD. What, to you, is the truest physical manifestation of love? A hug or kiss, some item? However, one rule. Although I completely agree with it, I'd rather hear an answer other than The Cross. Please don't be offended by this. You can use some other Christian symbol, but I just want to get answers other than the HUGELY OBVIOUS cross.
| I'm breaking my own rule today in order to explain my webpage's "Police State" a bit better.
The things I was looking for in people's sites were what they were saying on their sites. I hadn't noticed that "The Banned One" had become a raging swearer. I don't want that kind of person on my site, even if they don't use the language on my site.
That's why no one else has to worry. I don't care about opposite opinions or what not, I'm fine with those. I DO NOT want people who swear, degrade, and everything else, even if it's not on my site.
The Strike System is simple. You can get a strike in one of (currently) two ways:
1. Posting a comment about a post with comments blocked on another post.
Confusing? Let's say I have a post about pizza. I disabled comments on that post for whatever reason. My next post is about chicken wings. You post a comment about pizza on the chicken wings post, since you couldn't on the pizza post.
Make a bit more sense? The reason behind this is if I have comments blocked on something, it's because either A.) I don't want/need feedback or B.) The issue is highly controversial and I merely want to state my opinion.
However, it would be perfectly fine to go onto YOUR site and talk about what you would have commented on the Pizza post. Your site, your rules.
2. Swearing, derisive comments, and everything else of the like.
This is simple and needs no explanation. Depending on the severity of the offense, one of these can net you any number of strikes in a single comment.
